Haymitch’s Garlic Mashed Potatoes
No one ever complains about mashed potatoes. In fact, we challenge you to find someone who doesn’t adore them. These fluffy potatoes are easy to make and are full of flavor!
Boil the potatoes for 15 minutes, or until soft. In a small pan heat some oil and add the garlic. Sauté the garlic just until it begins to brown and then set aside. Once the potatoes are soft, remove them from the water and combine with the rest of the ingredients. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher (or a few forks if you don’t have one handy)! Salt and pepper to taste.
- 8 russet potatoes, unpeeled and cubed
- 10 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 cups butter of choice
- 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
- 1/3 cup milk of choice
- olive oil
